engine advice

ok here goes i have a
1600 bottom end (90model)
1800 head froma cabby(rich any idea model year?)
1800 manifold exhaust system (87 model)
1800 gti 8v cam (90 model)
1600 webber carb manual choke
1800 inlet manifold (same yr as head)]
k+n panel filter


my question is with these nods should i be using a 1800 carb and fuel pump???
would the fuel pump fit on the 1600 block??
reason i ask is because i had it set up etc but when stopping at lights revs dropped to abt 500rpm, if i run it a bit rich it dont do it, any ideas ppl??

Carb and fuel pump will be fine on your 1600, sounds like the carb just needs a tune  ;).

carb has been tuned several times and keeps doing it, would an 1800 webber carb cause any problems??

Make sure you dont have any air leaks, I think the 1800 and 1600 are the same :-\.
