My Mk2 Golf has appears to have been resprayed a slightly different colour of black.
It's original paint code is LA9V, but parts I got in that colour don't match, the old parts have a fleck in the paint that's not in the LA9V
I have a rattle can that is the right colour, it's a Tetrosyl labelled Black-05 (Pearl), (There's another code CC YAF179) but I can't find any reference to this colour on the web, so I can't cross match this to a VW paint code, or find a replacement source of paint.
So my theory is that my 'new' paint code is LC9Z (Black Magic Pearl).
Can anyone confirm/clarify my paint code, and help me find somewhere selling a rattle can of this?
