My 1.9 TDi let me down this morning. Opened the car got in, turned the ignition and waited until the glow plug light went out and then tried to start her up.....nothing! Starter doesn't turn at all.
I suspect Starter motor because the central locking is working OK and I have plenty of power to run lights etc so it can't be a flat battery. Or can it?
If it is the starter, is there an easy way to gain access to remove it. I don't have ramps to get underneath and it seems a bit tight to get at from above.
Any ideas?
