would my local VW specialist have this??? (Premier Car Services, Northampton) Or is it main dealer???
Get one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/U280-Scanner-Reader-OBD2-OBD-2-VW-Audi-VAG-diagnostic_W0QQitemZ280308608101QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment?hash=item280308608101&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1689|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

that worth getting then??? That will give me a fault code then?? Might just buy that, could be handy for the future :)

:Yep defo worth getting nowhere near as good as vagcom but it will read/ clear fault codes and dash lights.

Very handy for the money
