I have stripped the cars cambelt off and am setting up the timing.
I have aligned the camshaft to the marks and the crankshaft.
How is the auxilary cam set up becuase this also has a marking on the pulley but cant find one on the block or anywhere.

Aux Cam? do you mean tensioner? There is a guide in the maint section which will show you step by step what to do

I think he means the auxillary shaft, this runs the ignition dizzy. It should line up with the notch on the crank pulley(not sprocket). You can also set TDC on the distributor, line the rotor arm with the notch on the dizzy body.

I never bother using the int pulley marks as the dizzy tends to have been fiddled with, I just make sure the dizzy is timed up to TDC then leave it at that. only needs to be close enough to run, need a timing light to set it properly!
Though it depends what code engine you have
