« on: 30 March 2009, 20:59 »
Hi, i need to remove by front splitter of my small bumpered gti, i was just wondering if anyone knows how to remove it, i had a quick look today andi  can see some bolts at each end of it but not too sure whats holding it on along the middle of it, its hard to see under there as my cars abit low lol

Thanks in advance

undo the two bolts at either end, then iirc it should just be a case of doing the same along the rest of it.

It could however be half clipped and half bolted into position like on my old 1300.

Thats not how you remove a splitter. Thats how you remove the glove box.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
