newbie with a problem!

hello all! Im sean from northwich Cheshire. I have just picked my 1997 5door gti up on Saturday, and loving it! Just one annoying problem is the centeral locking! It won't unlock all the doors with the key unless the key is in the ignition! It will all lock with the key! Any ideas??

hello, welcome. i pass not far from you when i head to chester to the girlfriends.

as for centeral locking i don't know, my sisters mk4 does the same.


sure the mk3 section can help.  :smiley:
