Well this time ive really gone and done it!  Picked up a '79 GTI with suntop (avalible on ebay by the way)   but the floor let in more air than the roof

So not to be beaten i found myself an '82 Rabbit Diesel (No oil burning jokes!) from california  

Sold my mk2 gti to cover the respray cost, stripped it down, converted it to right hand drive and now after 4 months work is off the spray shop.  Ive chosen an interesting colour to say the least keeping it under wraps until VW Action which it will hopefully be ready for.  Old skool look with chrome and low.  Unsure about rims.  Dont know if i should go with 15" wolfrace octanes to add a hint of new or go for my 14"tear drops mirror polished  What do ya think

The plans for my cab are:

Leather retrim in grey hide!

A new grey monhair hood with new inner lining!

got a dvd player already one of the new compact ones! well chuffed with it!

electric windows!

spray job on the offside wing plus the front bumper as its got a few scuffs! not me  

looking for some bbs rims aswell!

hopefully having this done all by november uni permitting
