hi ive just been reading your problems with your central locking and you say you have window closers as well. does anyone know if the closers are controlled by the pump?

Full Closure is electronic and central locking is controlled by air from the pump.

I have today taken out my pump which has had a melt down

This i think was caused becuase some water got in where the electronic 12 pin plug goes and caused to short out  :undecided:

I borrowed a mates pump so i could unlock boot and petrol flap, won 1 on Ebay so waiting a couple of days for new 1 and all be fixed again

sorry to thread jump but ive just picked up a mk3 golf and the central
locking works if i use the key on the passenger side but not on the drivers door lock?

i dont have a key fob either...

so i am currently locking the car on the passenger side to activate the central locking...

any ideas?
