Difference between bora and golf cupholders
« on: 21 March 2009, 15:37 »
Ive just bought some net optic trim, but only got the front panel off the cup holder, but it appears to fix differantly than my original wood one!! The hinge points are in a different location. Anyone know if all bora ones are like this?

it's not the difference between the Bora and Golf, it's the new and old style cupholders...

to make the flap fit you may have to get another cupholder cassette. Which design is yours; does it have a circle to fit your cup into or 2 L shaped arams?

Nice one, Ive got the new style! Looks like I need to get an old style one..... Shame as id prefer to keep the new one! Perhaps I could make one using the new style internals and the old stlye externals?
