ADVICE NEEDED!!
I've got a Oak green 16v that i need to sell but i'm having some problems with it.
when i first got the car a year ago it ran fine but had the odd stutter on acceleration. its gradually got worse, seeming to run fine when cold but once it heated up it developed a misfire.
i've put a new bosch dizzy. aftermarket leads, new plugs & i've just fitted a new coil. its had a new fuel filter & im assured the fuel pump is ok.
it now misfires from cold.
i'm told that some aftermarket leads are crap so im just away to but a genuine set, but if this doesn't solve the problem...
any ideas?? the air flow valve was looked at a while ago cleaned & deamed to be ok by a VW specialist.
now the car isn't mint but decent enough. obviously i have to get it running right before i can sell it.
it's done 150k. im wondering if there could be anything obvious im missing.
could it be a valvetrain problem? its got a new starter & fires up no bother just has no power when it's running
any ideas would be appriciated
