The plastics are harder, and the Mk5 is well known for dashboard creaks and squeaks.

They over spent on the mk4 interior (made a loss) so its better built. It looks awful (imo) though, just hold together better. My R has about 1 or 2 squeaks (one because i went back to the isle of wight for a few days  ) I had loads in my ctr though 

My dad had an S-class merc when it came out and that had a few squeaks and was a £60k car.

foldin mirrors and puddle lights are a really nice touch.

No creaks or squeaks on mine , never has been - build quality is excellent and better than my last Audi and Porsche
