Groaning noise?
« on: 14 March 2009, 00:35 »
I have a groaning noise coming from the from wheels of my vr when i first start driving.
Sounds like sticky brakes, only lasts about 1 min, then stops.
Any ideas?

Does it happen when you brake or just when you're driving?

Just driving, Stops as soon as i get above 30mph. Thinking sticky calipers, dodgy top mounts, dry cv.

I know caster/camber needs done from dodgy lowering before i got it. This may be something to do with it. Only drive it Friday to Sunday, about 100 miles a week

Wheel bearing maybe.
