Custom Dials for your car
« on: 15 July 2004, 15:49 »
As some of you may have found out white dial kits from Halfords cost like ?30 and the last set I bought didn't fit properly.

I've just scanned in a set of mk3 clock faces so I'm going to have a play with them and see what I can make. It's just a case of printing them out on a sticker and sticking them ontop of your old dials. Hopefully after a bit of a trial and error sesh I should have them somewhere near.

Of course I can make some with the GOLFGTI.CO.UK logo on them ;D

Will let you know when I've got a set made up. I'll start on mk2 clocks after I've done mk3.

gotta decide what to put on them though. Gonna move the needle so 0 rpm is blot upright ;D

Making white ones is easy. Just invert the colours  :D

Could make some like the map of wolfsburg, but of Crawley ;D

If it works out, you could send out the designs in an e-mail and people can colour, edit and print thier own then.
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture
