Key Fob wont work and nor will the mirrors!

The key fob is not working  - i have to put the key into the lock manually - recently had a battery change, does that effect it. I have only 1 key so i cant do that trick that you need 2 keys to do. Also the electric wing mirrors dont work - any advise?

Lastly - and this is a bit embarassing - i cant get the rear wiper to stop working - I used to have a polo and to stop the wiper you only needed to depress the arm down twice and it would stop - i have tried that and there is no joy - again advide is needed.

Rear wiper pull the stalk back towards you to turn them off

Sounds like your central convenience module is playing up, check fuse 37 for the CCM and check the fuse on top of the battery cover, may have popped the fuse when the battery was changed, thats why your fob, mirrors and windows wont work because there all run through the CCM

The windows work fine -its just the door mirrors and the key fob  - is that still a fuse problem? and what number ?
