I have done a search, but it seems as though the q has been asked, but no answer has been given.
I have a mk3 8v, and my speedo has packed up, anyone know how to fix and is it a cable?? its a k reg.

These speedos are electronic and the sender could be faulty (but reading your other thread where it says kmh etc..its possible they have non original/working dials fitted!!) can you post a part no from the back on the clocks or take a picture.
oh and there fairly cheap to buy and fail easily (I'm on my 3rd set after faulty dials!!)

3rd set!! oh dear, I'll take some pictures overthe weekend and put them up, the longer i'm owning this car the more i'm noticing its really not a solid car!! its a black car but the inside of my bootlid is RED!!!!
what can you expect for 600 quid!!

That could mean it's been resprayed or a new boot lid has been put on.

Its a 600 pound runaround, bought it off a friend, all I was interested in was whether it had tax and mot, it did, it needs lots of bits done to it, if I wanted a minter, I wouldn't have bought it!
