im really interested in learning more about converting my 16v to digifant, is it as simple as it looks? use the digifant rail, bin the metering head and plug the return and suply into the rail, what happens about wiring for the ecu? what do i do with the 5th injector and warm up reg? any lght you can shed would be most helpfull! especially on power gains! cheers, ian

digifant 2  on a 16v please don't . it's a bit of a task  and won't work that well without a lot of work.   digifant 1 would work better but still much work

all the VW's have gone bar 1.

just looked at the vid.

that is digifant 1,

the basic conversion involves throwing aall the kjet stuff in the bin,  metering head, warm up reg the lot. the 5th injector can be kept  to fill the hole of a plug made to fill it. the isv controller gets junked as well

you need a 16v conversion fuel rail  BBM  do them  or you can look on ebay or just have one made.

the traditional way  means fitting g60 ecu and loom.

fitting it is actualy the easy bit  but to get it to run right the ecu needs ignition and fuel maps sutable for the 16v whitch is going to be the hard bit.
chould fit a 60-2 toothed wheel pickup behind the flywheel and fit digifant 3.2  as used by the abf then everythign is much closer to optimal to start with. or just fit and ADL ( if want 1.8 ) or abf for 2.0.

most 16v digifant 1 conversions are just a stepping stone.   to prove it all works then a glader or turbo gets bolted on
all the VW's have gone bar 1.
