does your engine get up to full operating temp and stay tehre?

Ahh, good point.

I'd still change the thermostat personally though. So cheap, might as well rule it out.

cos i had only warm air blowing through but my engine also sat on cold all the time, unless i was raggin it or sitting in traffic. Warm air means either:
thermostat
heater matrix is faulty
or airlock in the system.
