My 98 VR6 has rust on the inside of the o/s/r door and a couple of other places. My 95 16v had some on the front wheel arch which I uncovered when I took the black plastic arch trims off.

Both have had rust along the front of the roof where the windscreen joins - don't know if anyone else has rust here?

As for electrics, both have been fine

Paintwork on both has been far far better than a 57 reg Peugeot 207 I stupidly brought and sold a couple of months later. With my 16v I drove it into a mates narrow garage and the driver door had a fight with his lawnmower, and it just scratched some of the lacquer off the top of the paint - if I did that with the Pug 207 it would have taken the whole door off!
Cheers,
Chris

dovey theres 2 reasons why golf rust at the screen top...1 is badly repaired stonechips and the other is clumpsy screen fitters (both create a water trap leading to rust issues!!) and the only body rust on mine is where stonechips were left by the last owner!!.... its underneath that seems to be worst hit!!
