tugging art the heart strings
« on: 03 March 2009, 09:32 »
Hi all,

I am only an occasional user on this forum, it has been very helpful in the past and also very funny at times.

I don't really know any of you to have an out and out chat with, but its always been fun in the past to chip in with a bit of banter or some opinions.

the main forum i use is avforums.com, im a gadget man at heart so most of my spare time during the day is spent over there.

One of our regular contributors, and well liked members came online some time ago to have a bit of a rant, he had a fews things on his mind that he wanted to get off his chest, and it sort of shocked some of the more prominent members into action. It certainly puts life into perspective, and as a father of two very young boys, also put a tear in my eye.

I'm not sure what the rules are over here posting about things like this, so admins feel free to delete / amend this should it be not allowed.

Anyone who is interested to read a bit more about what is going on over on avforums just follow this link. http://www.avforums.com/forums/general-chat/947100-disneyland-paris-donation-thread-forum-member-emporers-terminally-ill-son-owen.html

thanks for taking the time to read this.

Wow. Fantastic. Reminds me of the car club thread where a member was unable to restore his car, so some other forumites worked solidly and restored the classic car. Anyone remember that?
