coilovers which ones to use?

just looking at coilovers for my mk1 but not sure which ones to buy was going to use koni as thats what i have always put on my cars but the price is nearly £800  :cry: any one fitted any other makes they can recommend

hottuning!! £165 and ive never had a problem with them

got hottuning coilovers on my mk2 there good for the money not to stiff and bounce  :grin:

thanks for your info have just found a set of jamex full coilovers with 2 years warrenty for £270 so took the plunge and got those also got a polybush kit whilst i was at it, didnt tell the other half tho lol

if i fit mk1 gti calipers on my 1.1 do i need to change the hubs and i have a 1.8 16v kr engine to fit does any one know if i can use mk1 1.8 8v drive shafts with it and hubs ?
