im in the middle of trying to replace the plastic standard DV on my friend's gti with a spare replica metyal one jus to fix any possible pressure loss etc. but im having huge problems finding the bastard thing. where is it?

Hi Adam, access to it is difficult because it can only be reached from underneath, are you working in a pit or has the vehicle been raised? apparently getting to it from the topside of the engine is near impossble.

If it is a standard MKV GTI then the DV is attached to the turbo and only accessible from beneath.
