I got a BMC CDA filter system on my car, had it on there about 16 months and never cleaned it. Recently i noticed my mpg averaging about 22-28 so i asked around and was told to change or clean my filter, not thinking it would make any difference i left it. Well saturday i was bored so took it off and bought it in. After vaccing and banging it out on the patio and about 20 bits of flys and sh!t loads of grit later i decided it was clean and my god, the difference is mad, i got my wheels spinning in 3rd again and had a good play with a cayman lol, definatly gonna keep on top of that and would advise other do the same if your running an aftermarket filter, its like getting a new mod lol!!!
