Gti Cannon Ball European Road Trip

Does anyone have any advice on great driving trips to go in their GTI?

I was thinking of going on a European adventure this summer. 

Maybe if anyone was interested a cannon Ball trip with a group of MK 5 GTI's would be fun.  Maybe to Nuremburg?

Nurburgring then a good tour in the Alps (lots of fantastic roads, the turbo sounds like a French refs whistle in the thin air) then down to Dubrovnic is a nice run.

Get as much height as you can.  The non blown cars are left gasping for air (R32s behave like 1600cc put-puts)
