2 x wiper problems

hi there boys and girls

i have a problem with my GTi's wipers

they dont park propperly , i have to put them onto intermittent for them to park

so what do i need to fix it ??

AND

my Mrs has a 1.3 with another wiper problem , hers wont park like mine but the intermittent works on normal speed not the 6 second like mine

whats wrong ere

done a search but no avail really

Well the relay (see: http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=44637.0) controls the intermittancy, but IIRC theres a stop in the motor that tells it where to "park". I think that would mean new motors.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the stalk
