What's wrong with the carb? May just need something like the jets cleaning out, etc.
the member Rubjonny is very very helpful and knows his stuff. He may be able to guide you on how to diagnose what is actually wrong.
You could fit another second hand one for it to just work the same! I do believe it's the Pierburg 2E3 carb you need.
