Hi guys and girls,
Think my cars is getting the famous coilpack disease, its a 2001 1.8T AUM, the power delivery seems to be fine and it idles fine, just under accelearation i can hear a slight misfire when i put the windows down(does everyone agree this is most likely the coipacks), heard that theres a Hitachi version of these that are supposed to be quite good with low failure rate-is this true? or should i just get the most recent ones from VW ?
Any help would be appreciated.
