Crystal Foglights
« on: 05 July 2004, 14:05 »
Hi all u dubfans, im new to golfgti.co.uk. Found these forums the other day and been great for info so far... ;D

Just a question I havent been able to find any help with:

How do you fit foglights into a CL version of the Golf Mk3 that does not have foglights as standard? I have a foglight switch and a new set of crystal foglights but no loom etc and was wondering the best way to wire them was?

Any help much appriciated.

Actually I'd be interested as well...

Golfinger - where did you get the foglights and switch from, and roughly how much were they?

I'd imagine that a number of people would be interested in fitting fog lights to their GTI's as the majority that I've seem don't appear to have them fitted as standard.

Anyone know of a kit that would supply all the required parts?  Any folks from the Good Guys, Dealers etc. forum sections be willing to put a kit together?   :D

Cheers,

Dobbs.

Both from ebay...

Switch goes for around ?30 (I know its crazy! But they are highly sought after), and crystal style foglights around ?100 mark.

Im just gonna rip apart a VR6/GTI and steal all the wiring and hopefully transplant it into my CL. Just wanted to see if this was a easy job or if anyone else has had any experience doin it...

Hope this helps.
