How do I get my speedo out??

The only way I can see so far is to take the whole dash out :-s and I'm really not up for that lol. Need to change the bulbs, as I've got some dead'uns. Also, should the MFA be backlit?? 'cause I've seen some pics of mk2s where it's lit up, but mine isn't. Is this an addition people have done??

Mfa should light up.

You don't take the actual dash off just the front. It's not that bad really.

Look at the link someones put there for you and you be fine.

You should be able to get the bulbs without taking the speedo itself out.

Did this a couple of weeks ago, if you can get the speedo cable off the back of the clocks then its possible to pull the clocks forward and down enough to change the MFA bulb - its a bit of a fiddle but possible. Also the other 2 bulbs are at the top of the clocks at the back so they are a peice of cake. Just make sure you have the right bulbs before you start as theres nothing worse than pulling it all to bits and finding out you aint got the right bulb

Sounds like what I've done they look the same, but it ain't lighting up  where can I get the bulbs from?? Also, if I were to change the color of the bulbs, how do I go about getting rid of the green tint stripping??

Turn the bulbs round 180 degrees and try again as they only work one way.

You have to take the clocks out, remove the printed circuit and prise the white plastic at the top/back of the clocks up a bit to pull the green strip out.
