got my car re-mapped today by Richter sport. All i can say is WOW what a difference.
the car was putting out 196 bhp @ 6142 with 273nm torque @ 2674 standard.
with the new map loaded she's kicking out 241bhp @ 6183 and 317nm torque at 2674.
Both curves follow the original's perfectly keeping that long flat torque nicely throughout
the rev range.
the car now feels very "urgent" waiting to spring off with a slight dip in the pedal. It's
loveley in 6th to be able to cruise then just dip the pedal half-way and take off!
all in all i thouroughly reccomend these guys and the fact that they are directly
affiliated with Volkswagen kinda makes you feel confident.
the mapping took about an hour and a half and was only 400 quid which includes a
one year £10000 warranty.
I've been tuning cars for some years now and have to say these guys are very
proffesional, highly reccomended.
