ANTI LAG
« on: 12 January 2009, 00:20 »
has anyone ever fitted an anti lag kit on a golf, if so which kit did you buy and how much do they go for?

Does if damage the standard turbo, i know the basics behind what they do i.e  its the process of changing timing, valve opening and fueling to get detonation in the exhaust (ie before the turbo) to keep the turbo spinning between shifts.
Very obvious on rally cars. Scares people on the street though :)

replies would be great

Would avoid it tbh, can kill the turbo very quickly. Might aswell just get a big loud exhaust if you want to scare people...

Yeah best to leave it tbh, my mate had it on his evo which was like 400+bhp but unless your using it on the track I'd avoid it.

Awesome going down a quiet street though...
