Seperating a hub from a driveshaft

Happy More Beers!!!!
Just bought some VR6 hubs with brakes. BUT- they still have the driveshaft bolted on and from experience, removing the hub is nigh on impossible. Is there an easy way to do this, other than bolting it back into a car then unbolting it again?? I need to change the bearing and flange.

You'll struggle I think, a windy gun may help but you still need to hold the driveshaft still somehow, maybe a really good vice? Plus I think the VR6 driveshafts are also glued into the hubs, making the job even more tricky!

Hub puller?
Seems to be the obvious solution to me. Available in Halfords or any other well stocked car accessory shop. Got one myself and cannot do without it. Just bolt it to the wheels mounting studs or bolt holes, and wind in the centre shaft.

Got it. Took it to a garage, air gun, voila.. no driveshaft!
Now to get the rest of the stuff together.
