quick question on plaques

would an edition 30 ordered from motorpoint.  German import be eligible for the plaque or was it just the uk registered ones.

No just the UK ones AFAIR. Otherwise it really wouldn't be limited edition would it? Then again, didn't stop them from making over 1500 for the uk

There were those that were imported specifically for the UK market and passed on to VW dealers to sell from brand new. There were only meant to be 1500 of these but they ended up with 2300.

Then there were those that were meant for, say, Europe that were imported by people like Motorpoint into the UK. So they come with only two years warranty (manufacturer only) rather than three years (manufacturer+dealer).
