The interior control for the fan speed gets really hot to touch when running at level 3 - 4.
Is this normal? nowt to worry about right?

Can't say I've noticed if my knob gets hot as dont often have it up that high, but I will check on my way home!! ;D ;D
-
think mine gets warmed.. right now with the weather how it is down here i've got it in 1-2, all the way to cold.. and with the air-con on.
-
I've got poor mans air con unfortunately - fans on full with windows fully open.
:'(

air-con although nice when its hot, is a bit of a pain coz it dries the air out and makes ur throat go funny. i have to turn it off quite a bit.

Must be a dub thing, mk1's suffer hot knobs. My white mk1 was a standard motor with standard mods (stainless, KnN and the like) with as much removed as possible (two seater). Thing was well noisy. Fun tho. One day my fans were on full pelt, was on the motorway, I smell burning electrics, yes the switch was well hot. cudnt turn it off. It had melted to psosition 3!) Had to pull over and rip wires out. My late mk1's get hot too but the wires behind are even hotter! Now I have a quick feel now and again, when its warm i turn it down.
You geeza's r probably fine though. lol ;D
