Hey Pirelli_P, mine is a detachable bonnet bra and illyun has the stick on protective film. Which were you looking at? I got mine via a group buy on here. http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=79721.0

The bonnet bra can be purchased from www.autobra.co.uk at £60 and the stonechip protection was around £500 and worth every penny as I don't have any stonechips - covered rear bumper, whole of the bonnet, front wings and front grill and lower spoiler. My film is the ventureshield one which is mean to be better than the 3M one - apparently, that yellows with age and doesn't allow UV light through therefore causing paint shade differences. It came with a lifetime warranty from Rhinoprotect who installed it for me - they went bankrupt 6 months later :lipsrsealed:

Word of warning regarding the autobra. You must take it off at least once a week as dust and grit gathers underneath it... it could end up scratching your paintwork.

I've got the Ventureshield protector. I'd recommend it but with reservations. On my Tornado Red, there is a slight colour difference after 2 years on and there is a white line across the middle of the bonnet that I can't remove and it drives me mad the number of people that tell me I've got a big scratch on front of my car.
On the plus side, I have no stone chips at all on the front , just a couple higher up, nearer the windscreen.
