Post by: pw motorsport on 09 December 2008, 09:59
A revised version of the BBS Challenge wheel to be launched early next year. Will be available in 20", colours to be silver and the black edition as shown.

Let me know your thoughts.

Ah yes, I can see the differences easily now.

Although if the new one is a pic of the 20" and the bottom pic an 18" then I'd like to see 2 pics of the same size wheels.

Looks like the spokes are slightly slimmer, the centre slightly smaller and the curved sections are more rounded. :cool:

Lighter?

Stronger?

Still to be answered please. :smiley:

Two questions;

Do you have a picture of the silver version?
Will you be selling "old" CH wheels cheap?  :grin:

19" alloys will fit straight on, but you must have the correct offset and alloy width, otherwise the wheels will rub.

All alloy wheels have an offset.

The back of the wheel mounts onto the hub of the car the flat face of the back of the wheel that mounts to the hub is where the measurement of the offset is taken from.

Lets say you have an 8" wheel width. If the face is exactly in the middle ie 4" in then the offset is zero. if the face is 50mm further over to the outside edge of the wheel it is known to have a +50 offset.
