How possible is it to keep an everyday use engine bay like this
(http://www.gtimadman.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/duke.jpg)
I wanna do a mk3 engine swap into a mk2, but wanted to tidy it up before putting it in. I mean...I know the aluminium oxidises, is there anyway around it, anyway I could keep it shiny while using it day to day?? I really am a noob, so be as informative and condescending as you want lol

cleaning it every day.

Are you really going to a show everyday? Cleaning once a week and then a mega clean before a show should suffice.

No I won't be going to a show everyday, tbh I'm not sure how many shows I'd go to lol I just want it to look good. Yea every couple weeks sounds good

i cleaned the G60 block up then matt high temp straight on matt black stuff, gearbox the same, along with a new coil pack, new dizzy cap, new water flanges, new cam covers, new water hoses ect ect! did the trick, ok im not going to win any prizes but its not embarrasing when i open the bonnet either.
havent got a pic of that but heres my ABF daily
