Title: I'm a newbie, what do i look out for buying a Mark 2 gti?

Subject is explanitory really.

8V or 16V either a poss.

Looking for a stock or subtly modded one with FSH, PAS and CL.

Any help is most appreciated.

Thanks, i've always wanted a Mk 1, but can't really afford to buy a sorted one, so it has to be a Mk2.

Going to see one tonight, a 92 J 8v with 108000 on it.

Looks good, we shall see!
