Title: Can a good detailing get rid of swirls?

Had my car cleaned a few weeks ago, thought it looked nice at the time but I've been busy with college stuff so I didn't look over it too much. Went for a drive this weekend and spotted some small swirls above the rear left hand door. They are not very noticeable, only when you go up close to it, but it's driving me mental!
Could a good detail get rid of the swirls? Or could the spot need a respray  :lipsrsealed:?

Getting the bodywork mopped by a good detailer will easily get rid of most paint defects. Definitely does not need a respray.

For example, look at this pic of a 50:50 progress shot of mopping in action, the left side looks lovely and glossy whereas the right is all swirled:
