Title: Went 2 a BBQ came home with 4 BBS alloys
Post by: MK4_20VT on 06 June 2004, 20:14
I went to a BBQ at my girlfriends parient's 2day & when they were opening the garage to get the BBQ out, there were a set of BBS alloys from her bro's 924 porsche (they have been sitting there over 2years!!)

He sold them 2 me for ?100 with 4 good tyres & they all have the centre caps.  ;D

Will these fella's fit my mk2 or do i need sum spacers or sumthing??

hmm, sounds a bargain but I think you are going to have problems fitting them. i am fairly sure they will be 4*108 bolt pattern and you need 4*100. don't think you can get adapters to do that change either  :(

If you put them on e-bay don't forget to describe them as "rare porsche bbs wheels" and the price will go up and up  ;D

I hope they do fit, they are the ones with the gold on the centre spokes & sliver on the rims, they look the dogs & will look great on my mk2 (they look like the 1's on the mk1 in the gallery)

If they don't fit I will be very sad  :'(  it's not everyday you find a set of BBS for a ton

porsche 924's are either 4x108 or 5x108 so unfortunately they wont fit

have a look here for all fitments and offsets for all cars

get them on ebay!!
