Title: Newbie...Hi
Post by: Biglicks on 29 November 2008, 13:23
Hi to all. I recently traded my ' OLD MAN ' Honda CRV for a MK5 gti dsg. Dont regret it one bit, trouble is I
have an illness. Cant help wanting to modify the car as you all seem to luv doin. I know a few people in car trade and have been offered what sounds like a great deal. Turbo back exhaust and chip , this is ok with me but dont want a droning boy racer sound constantly bugging me while motorway driving. In anyones opinion would catback system be quieter or not?
Also have had a 6 hour free trial from Awesome luved it but swear the car is slower now than before
cheers.

The map your car is using now is not "stock" but APR version of stock.

No not a problem.

For a completely stock VW map you would have had to have your car reflashed with the stock code.

Welcome to the forum Biglicks

What make of TBE are we talking about? Do you have an offer of any TBE or one specific make?

TBE is to be custom made by Blueflame. I know them through the motorcycle trade which I  work in.
