i cant believe how light they are compared to the monza17s, i could easily carry 2 rc similar to just one of the monzas.
i noticed the difference in handling with them being 8j instead of 7.5j.
im happy with them, they suit the car and make the red brakes stand out more,
they have been powder coated with a bright silver effect.
ill take some better photos tomorrow
today....

yeah, those pics are a little wanting in detail.
-
Arent they mk4 anni wheels on a mk5??? not sure it suits or works imo. Perhaps in better light and camera will look better.
-
Nice set of wheels, look a little small on the side view, are they 17's or 18's?
-
they are 17s.. 18s dont suit the driving i do, raods around here are very poor.. so i prefer road comfort more than looks
they do look small when parked up but pretty cool when driving.
yeah phil they are the same as the mk4 anni wheels.. ive always had a soft spot for them, just happy i got hold of some that are 112 fitment not 100..

Agreed, they are very much a mk4 wheel imo :( Don't suit the mk5.
-
im not sure, maybe in a different colour like a anthracite or polished lip they would stand out + swap the centre caps dont like them. only my opinion of course.
-
Love the wheels but just a bit difficult to see what they're like on the GTI. Will await pics.
-
I like em' !!! :) :)
-
I like them. Can't go wrong with BBS.
-
A good solid alloy those.
Need better pics pleeeeeaaaase
-
new photos added
-
Still don't do it for me on the mk5. On the mk4, they're stunning.
-
Look cool!!
-
I don't think they look 'the best' I guess...
But don't take that comment the wrong way, because for the purpose that you bought them for, i.e. weight saving, road comfort, poor local roads, i think they are perfect! A classic BBS deign that has always worked very well on Golf's. Great choice I say!!

 bbs alloys always look good.

.... Ditto!
But I'm a bit of a stickler for the Monzas on Mk5 GTI's and would have stuck to Monza 17's personally but ETTO :afro:

thanks for your comments guys..
monza alloys are just to common around my way..
i like being unique, its individual, its me.
