I am having problems at the moment with a hunting idle and have a feeling it's related to one of the senders on the side of the block. It's black in colour and is directly underneath the distributor. When disconnected the idle returns a lot quicker so would like to try replacing it. Thing is i dont know exactly what it's for so i can get hold of a new one.
Any help appreciated

swap the red/yellow wire to the sensoryou think is faulty, check the dash temp gauge. if the temp reads way off the engine temp you know its bust :)
all 3 sensors on side of the head are the same rating :)
