Title: Clock/ MFD Display.

Hi all,

I've just bought my first GTI, a mint MK2 1800 8V, and i'm very happy with it.But i've got a problem with the clock/Multi function display unit.

Basically i can't find out how to set the clock!The obvious way would seem to be with the two buttons either side of the tripometer that you depress with a pen etc.However nothing happens when i press them.

Am i missing something obvious?Do i need to push the switch on the MFA stalk? ???

Sorry for the lame question but i'm totally stumped so any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hi,

Pen never worked for me.

Straightened out paperclip did the trick, and you had to be brutal.
