Hi all
Im am posting on behalf of a mate at work. He's looking at buying a mk5 gti but is heavily put off by the rear indicator/brake light combo. He feels that when he sees a mk5 gti braking you cant clearly see the indicator hence this is dangerous and a big design flaw.
Ive not really noticed this so not to sure what the fuss is all about but basically he says he loves the car but wont be comfortable to buy one unless something can be done about the rear light issue.
Has anyone any suggestions that could help solve his problem? Any help would be great. Oh and ive told him to stop being a girl but that didnt really help!

You can replace the standard rear lights with oem led ones like the ones RedRobin has on his car.
-
Yeah i thought there would be some good oem ones out there. What are the ones on Red Robin's car?

If his that worried it might be worth getting the LED ones (not sure its going to make much diffrence as Ive never seen them in action) but seriously, what a pansy!

They function much more visibly than the stock ones.

I'm sure someone also posted a link to youtube that showed the difference on how they work and how clear they look.
As RR usually says 5 star cool
