Title: Milltek Quads to R32 ?
Post by: No Golf Clubs at all on 20 November 2008, 14:28
Some of you may have noticed that I recently have been interested in getting an R32.

If I decide however to keep my beauty I may decide to change my Milltek Quads for a Milly R32 back box. Clearly instead of my ABT rear valance, I will also need to factor in costs for an R32 valance and paint.

I love the look of the twin centre exhausts...could I expect a performance downgrade as a result of the move from quads to dual? Would this be just purely a cosmetic mod?

I am reckoning about £150 to get the rear painted...no idea on the cost of an R32 rear valance, will have a search just now.....

I dont really like cars pretending to be something they are not...but as you will see from my pics, my car (which I bought this way) is partly there anyway...abt side skirts, r32 wheels....so thinking I may just as well go and tidy up the back bit.  The quads whilst nice look a bit too "modded" for my tastes.

If it's by Milltek and made for the R32 then there won't be a performance loss. The tips are just for looks

....Yes, I know what you mean. I'm much happier with the tips now they're black - It tones them down. The one advantage of quads is that it tends to frighten off those boy-racers - Mixed with a short burst of acceleration and they have second thoughts about it!

There's no performance loss between quads and twins and no noticeable sound difference either.
