Title: is this right?
Post by: the_stink on 19 November 2008, 18:17
i had a bump a while ago and when i was doing the quick quote declared the one i had and this other one,

rang my old insurance comapny and they onyl had 1 claim logged in the last 3 yrs

took out the policy with the 1 accident,

bell sent me a email saying they have notes about this other accident, rang them and explained that no claim ever went through i thought it had, but on ringing my old ins company it never went though, no money paid out to a TPI nothing at all £0

so they turn round and say well because you have had an incident we need to log it down? which has altered my policy premuim.

Now i can uderstand if it went through the insurace but it DIDNT, how the F*** does that work,

thats like me scrapping the car on a wall, then not making  claim but ring them to tell them ive scrapped a wall but then say im not making a claim just wanted to let you know? Am i over reacting?

yep, they know everything

my neighbour hit our car

we were asleep in bed

he got my car sorted on his policy

my company were NEVER involved or even informed

I didnt declare this on a new policy, so they then told me I failed to declare

If i declared all the knocks ive had then my insurance would be f**ked!

Im 18, 1 years NCB on a 1.6 Driver mk2 and next month my insurance will be £957 (renewal came back at £1400!!)

Unclaimed knocks:

None of these were my fault and Luckily it was only the top one that cause any damage and I had planned on putting big bumpers on anyway but still annoyed me! I reckon my premium would be through the roof even if i had claimed on the other peoples insurance!

thingys on the road
