hi all
does anyone know the name of the part of the trottle that the accelerator cable attaches too (the parts that contains the butterfly valve thing, can't find my manual and need a new one (second hand if pos :) )

Ah thats called the doohicky...

Do you still have your old one? there should be a part number somewhere on it, then if you go to GSF they will do them for not allot.
