oh f**k man >:(
that looks like the perfect project!
fookin pity i already got my valver,
nice number plate as well 8)
-
yeah i forgot to mention the plate. i also think i've seen pics of that car before.
jjust noticed the drivers door doesnt close properly, so it might only been good for cannibalisation, altho the engine is probably still good + has mods.. plus the interior looks to be ok.. maybe the alloys are too..
-
Wheels, engine (mileage??) & interior is worth the asking price alone
-
mmmmm, am wanting that interior!
-
that chassis looks all twisted if you look at the drivers door. :-\
-
echo :P
( i said that about the door above hehe ;) )

Just been looking at that site, looks like somebody had some fun in this ferrari:
http://www.douglasvalley.co.uk/salvage/salvage_details.asp?id=580
They want ?25k for it still!!!
Only done 500km, couldn't exactly say one careful owner though!!!
-
The old dustbin next to it looks to be in better shape :D

Believe it or not, it would proberly be woth that. Suprisingly the panels are'nt that bad to buy. Would cost no where near the same amount as a secondhand one with that milage.
-
Probably got this description "Light panel damage, easy fix" ;D ;D ;D
-
I'd be a bit worried that the whole thing would be twisted though. Then what ya got........two lovely seats and a monster of an engine! Mind you it's brand new so I bet somebody will fix it.
-
I bet they will. I remember seeing a thread on here a while back that showed this Merc on a website and it looked pretty much the same as the ferrari and this guy fixed it up and it showed all the pictures as he was doing it, when he finished it looked split mint..........or maybe I dreamt this ::)
-
Here's what they had to say about it:
"04 Ferrari F360 Spider 500 Kilometres FSH Log Book not recorded ?25000"
FSH!!! I should think so it only just rolled off the forecourt.

Hi Gibby
You may have been thinking of the link to that guy who recently built a merc SLR from scratch, that was in a thread on here recently?
-
Aye tobzman, that's the one. So it can be done if you have the spare cash, time and knowledge. ;D
-
so do you all think it would be not worth it?
shame that some prick has banged it up really, :'(
i bet it was a real beaut :-*
-
If it could be done to the same level as the merc that was described above then it would be deffo worth it IMO. :)
Someone must have rolled that over a good few times :(

Its all about time and a bit of money. Well worth it, if you know what your doing.
