Title: New tyre time!
Post by: Jay on 16 November 2008, 21:05
Right, time to get some new tyres on the old gal.
No need to go into the Toyo T1R are best or that Yoko Prada's are ghey etc. I'm choosing from 1 of these two tyres, no others.

I've decided to on either Yokohama S306 or Dunlop SP10.

Vote, and explain your reason.

thanks.

Remoulds?

Seriously though, you know what your after so get it mate.  I used to stick with ZZ-1 as they were a great tyre. I now go for Eagle F1's as they offer a good ride and loads of grip in the wet.

I voted for the Dunlops. But that's because my mate is standing over me, he's bigger than me and his dad used to work for them...

Remoulds?

Are these model tyres old and only available as remoulds?

I just searched for Yoko and Dunlop tyres (they're well known brands) and found some cheap.

If they're remoulds fook that, I'll keep looking.

Apropo of nothing dudes and dudettes, I am fancying Parada`s myself. Not due to the results of extensive research but because the Sebrings came with one and the tread pattern is cool!

I was taking the wee, stay away from them fella.  You can get a decent mid range tyre that would be more than suitable for your car for around £45 - £50 per corner. I have just put 16" Conti's on my pissrat for 45 per tyre.

they will fit the wheel's but maybe affect your overall rolling radius , thus altering your speedo  :undecided:
